BLU JAZ 13TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL
Blu Jaz Cafe, known for its eclectic range of music and live acts, celebrates its 13th anniversary with a street fiesta. Bands such as funk/soul sextet Ground Up and brass outfit New Stream Brass Band will play live sets, while DJs such as Anand Nair and Kenneth Francis will handle the decks.

JAZZ THE BEATLES JEREMY MONTEIRO, WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS
To mark the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' landmark album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Cultural Medallion recipient Jeremy Monteiro will play jazzed-up renditions of some of the Fab Four's most popular tunes such as With A Little Help From My Friends, When I'm 64 and Blackbird.
There are two shows, featuring guest musicians such as guitarist Eugene Pao and singers Melissa Tham and Nick Zavior.

SUPERSECT: GREATEST HITS ALBUM LAUNCH
Home-grown rising quintet Supersect mix their love for funk- inflected thrash metal and Chinese martial arts mythology.
Winner of the Noise Singapore Award last year, the band will launch their full-length debut album, Greatest Hits.

Back for its 10th edition, the Esplanade's annual series of free live jazz performances this year will include gigs by pianist Aya Sekine, Summertimes Big Band and others.
The performances will take place at the venue's Concourse, renamed the Cafe 21 Living Room for this series and at the Outdoor Theatre.
