ANDREW LIM: ARTLESS STATE

Guitarist Andrew Lim, a familiar face in the home-grown jazz scene, takes the spotlight as bandleader in a gig that features his original music.

Known for his collaborations with acts ranging from Jeremy Monteiro to Rani Singam, his Esplanade show features a band also comprising pianist Tan Weixiang, bass player Benjamin Poh and drummer Aaron James Lee.

DAUGHTRY LIVE IN SINGAPORE2018

Fronted by singer and former American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry, the band best known for hits including It's Not Over (2006), September (2009) and Over You (2006) will be back in Singapore.

They recently released a single, Backbone, taken from their upcoming fifth album, Cage To Rattle.

RATOS DE PORAO

Brazilian veterans Ratos De Porao have influenced many punk, hardcore and metal bands since they started out in 1981. The Sao Paulo quartet play their first gig in Singapore, which also features home-grown acts like punk band The Maniacs, noise outfit circuitrip and metal band Violent Pacification.

MAJESTY - METAFORA EP LAUNCH

Majesty, who are launching their EP at this show, might be a relatively new name but the members are all veterans of the home-grown Malay rock scene. The band are led by singer Hanafie Warren, best known for fronting 1980s Malay rock band The Unwanted, while the rest of the line-up comprise members of longtime bands Helter Skelter and Rockers.

The gig features opening sets by Outcry and Ismail Gani.

WICKED AURA 15TH : STILL MAKING FIST

Home-grown percussive rock band Wicked Aura celebrate their 15th year with this headlining show which also includes an Afro-Brazilian rhythm workshop as well as guest performers including electronic artist/singer Weish and Stompin' Ground bassist and Bushmen frontman Syed Mahdzar. The gig also features opening acts Samba Masala and Sintoxicate.
