EXPLORATIONS IN JAZZ FEATURING JAKOB DINESEN AND JEREMY MONTEIRO

Singaporean jazz maestro Jeremy Monteiro and leading Danish saxophonist Jakob Dinesen come together for a one-night-only jazz collaboration.

Monteiro, a Cultural Medallion recipient, is an acclaimed jazz pianist, while the globetrotting Dinesen has two Grammys, for Best Jazz Album in 2003 and 2007, under his belt.

KIV: KIAT, INTRIGUANT AND VANDETTA

Three of Singapore's electronic music powerhouses, Kiat, Intriguant and Vandetta, come together at the National University of Singapore's (NUS) University Town (UTown) for a performance of electronic, hip-hop and soul music.

The free gig, presented by the NUS Centre for the Arts, will feature opening act btcprox, also known as Bryan Tan, a product of the NUS Electronic Music Lab.

NPARKS CONCERT SERIES IN THE PARK: ROCKESTRA

Retro fever will take over Fort Canning Green tomorrow night. Expect hits from the 1960s to the 1990s, performed by the likes of singing duo Jack & Rai, singer-songwriters Umar and Dru Chen, veteran band Shagies and indie-pop quartet M1LDL1FE, which will be joined by Jawn.

BOB MARLEY BIRTHDAY BASH

Celebrate the late reggae legend Bob Marley's birthday with a screening of the documentary, Marley, by Scottish film-maker Kevin Macdonald, at The Projector.

It will be followed by a party at the Intermission Bar, headlined by Indonesian reggae ambassador Ras Muhamad and Indonesian-German reggae singer Toke.

The price of the movie ticket includes free entry to the after-party.
