NEON LIGHTS

Music and arts festival Neon Lights is back for its second instalment here and the line-up is bigger than for its debut last year. Acts this year include acclaimed British indie rock band Foals (above), Icelandic post-rock trio Sigur Ros, Malaysian songstress Yuna and some of the home-grown scene's finest, including singer-songwriters Linying and Gentle Bones.

FINAL MAMBO JAMBO AT JIAK KIM

Zouk's iconic Mambo Jambo night (above) was a rite of passage for many clubbers who grew up here. This is the last chance to relive those heady Wednesday nights and bust out synchronised moves at Zouk's Jiak Kim location before the club reopens at Clarke Quay.

FLOW - ALBUM LAUNCH CONCERT

Home-grown experimental trio SA, comprising (from right) Natalie Alexandra, Cheryl Ong and Andy C, made their name with cutting-edge music that crosses the boundaries of classical, traditional and the avant-garde. This show is the second of their two-night gig to mark the release of their full-length album, Flow. The performance will be aided by visual artist Brandon Tay.

12TH SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL GUITAR FESTIVAL

The festival, featuring some of the world's finest guitar players, is back for its 12th edition. The four-day event is held with the 7th International Guitar Competition.

Highlights include concerts by Japanese sextet Danrok (right), multi-award-winning Italian classical guitarist Aniello Desiderio and Grammy-winning British guitarist David Russell.
