Emo fans will get a chance to relive the heyday of their eye-linered youth with the second instalment of throwback gig series Emo Night.

This edition features a set by American singer-songwriter Ryan Key (main photo), best known as the frontman of pop-punk outfit Yellowcard, the band behind mid-2000s hits such as Ocean Avenue and Only One. Also on the bill is Bryan Ulric (The Summer State, Villes) on the decks, spinning singalong-worthy emo anthems.

KYARY PAMYU PAMYU KPP 5iVE YEARS MONSTER WORLD TOUR 2016 IN SINGAPORE

Kawaii Harajuku pop princess Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (above) is a walking candy-coloured confection and so are her songs.

Almost 95 million people have viewed her 2011 debut single PonPonPon on YouTube and her latest album Pika Pika Fantajin (2014) has had No. 1 debuts in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. This is part of Esplanade's Super Japan - Japanese Festival of Arts.
