ROCKING THE REGION
These Brittle Bones, the nom de plume of Singapore-based Welsh singer-songwriter Chris Jones, is back and will perform fresh tracks from his upcoming EP, Effects.
He is one of the artists taking the stage at the Esplanade's month-long free gig series, Rocking The Region, that features acts from all over South-east Asia.
Also performing this weekend are acclaimed singer-songwriters Adhitia Sofyan and Neonomora from Indonesia, and O.J. Law from Malaysia.

SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL 2016
Sing Jazz, or Singapore International Jazz Festival, returns for its third instalment this weekend and the line-up is just as eclectic as before. It includes Cuban icons from the Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club, who will play a set that is part of their final global tour; Grammy-winning British singer Joss Stone (photo); rising Australian band Hiatus Kaiyote; and home-grown acts such as singer-songwriter Charlie Lim and jazz maestro Jeremy Monteiro.

DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE - LIVE IN SINGAPORE
One of the United States' most prominent indie-rock bands, Death Cab For Cutie, play their third show here. The trio of drummer Jason McGerr, singer/ guitarist/pianist Ben Gibbarda and bassist Nick Harmer will be playing tunes from their latest and eighth studio album, Kintsugi, which was nominated in the Best Rock Album category at the recent 58th Grammy Awards.
