The Padang gigs at the Singapore Grand Prix have always been the biggest shows in the local concert calendar. This year's line-up of crowd-pullers include rock icons Queen, fronted by American singer Adam Lambert; Australian dance-pop favourite Kylie Minogue; as well as more recent chart-toppers such as British band Bastille and American outfit Imagine Dragons.
There are several stellar music acts at the smaller stages all around the Marina Bay Street Circuit too - from home-grown talents Gentle Bones and Charlie Lim to American a cappella group Pentatonix.

AN AFTERNOON WITH CELEBRITY DRUMMER DENNIS CHAMBERS
American drummer Dennis Chambers is one of the most prominent musicians in the soul, funk and fusion scene, having played with the likes of Carlos Santana and pioneering bands such as Funkadelic and Parliament. The Modern Drummer magazine's Hall of Fame inductee's performance and drum clinic are part of Singapore Drum Fest 2016.

100 BANDS FESTIVAL - 1ST WEEKEND
100 Bands Festival, the biggest annual music event featuring 100 home-grown bands across a wide variety of genres, is back for its third instalment and will take place over three weekends, starting from today. The two stages are set up in a unique venue - this time the open field opposite Paya Lebar Airbase.
This weekend's line-up comprises a mix of new and seasoned acts from the independent and alternative music scene, such as grindcore luminaries Wormrot, veteran indie outfit Disko Biscuit, post-hardcore act A Vacant Affair and oi/punk quintet Generation 69.

MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS LIVE IN SINGAPORE
American hip-hop duo Macklemore (born Ben Haggerty) and Ryan Lewis have achieved much in the last few years - from having their first two singles, Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us, peaking at the top of the pop charts to winning four Grammy Awards in 2014 off the strength of their debut album, The Heist. This gig will be their first in Singapore.
