Singer-composer Dick Lee marks his 60th birthday with a concert that kick-starts the Icon Series of concerts featuring accomplished and exceptional home-grown artists. With more than four decades of music on his resume - ranging from National Day Parade favourite Home and pop songs to show tunes and regional classic The Mad Chinaman - the 2005 Cultural Medallion recipient will be sharing songs and stories from a long and varied career.

Acclaimed home-grown musician Charlie Lim (photo), former Singapore Idol contestant Daphne Khoo and singer-songwriter Joie Tan headline this concert in support of the Bone Marrow Donor Programme, which aids patients with leukaemia and other blood diseases.

Home-grown record label Ujikaji presents a show with a host of cutting-edge and experimental musicians. The line-up includes prolific Scottish saxophonist and composer Raymond MacDonald (photo) of the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra, Australian multi-instrumentalist Shoeb Ahmad; and home-grown artists Bani Haykal, a 2013 Young Artist Award recipient, guzheng player iNAT and sound and integrated media artist jprecursor.
