Actor David Tennant plumbs the depths of the human psyche in the horror thriller Bad Samaritan, in which he plays a psychopathic kidnapper

David Tennant has come a long way since his career-making turn on the cult British science fiction television series Doctor Who.

Since his 2005 to 2010 stint as the eponymous Doctor - a powerful extraterrestrial who goes on adventures through time and space - the Scottish star has built up his resume as a serious dramatic actor.
