SINGAPORE - The finale of Game Of Thrones gave fans a compromise victory - the person on the Iron Throne is the least worst choice, a form of selection which ensures fairness by making everyone equally miserable.

The episode opens with winning forces looking around the ashen heap of King's Landing and the bones of women and children - evidence of the Mad Queen's genocidal break. Tyrion, Arya and Jon are angry, but they cannot do anything while Grey Worm and the Unsullied army are there, along with an oddly large number of Dothraki - were more of them shipped over?
