SINGAPORE - The Battle of Winterfell is over and bodies are smouldering on the pyres - but a lot of smouldering going on here inside the banquet hall, mainly between Brienne of Tarth and Jaime. He knighted Brienne in the last episode and in this one shows that he is ready to give her another leg up, so to speak.

The only one who is not making merry in the hall is Ghost, Jon's direwolf, who as it turns out, survived the battle despite being part of the Dothraki Cannon Fodder First Wave. It is always the foreign troops who are at the front lines, isn't it? A few years from now, maesters will erase their contributions from Westerosi history books and Dothraki Deniers will troll the taverns.
