Singer-songwriter: Boon Hui Lu exploring issues women in their 20s face

Two years ago, Singaporean singer-songwriter Boon Hui Lu rocketed to fame after singing a cover of the song Stranger In The North by Malaysian rapper-songwriter Namewee.

Now, the 25-year-old has her own debut album, released in January, titled Honestly Me. It features 10 original Mandarin songs, such as the moving Dear, and the melancholic Tears.
