Tanya Chua misses out on major Golden Melody Award nominations

Home-grown singer-songwriter Tanya Chua, known for singing sad songs about heartbreak, might have lightened up and reinvented herself in her latest album Kisses For The World (2018).

But the album, with tracks such as the breezy Offline Map and the buoyant number Wu Bu (Dance Steps), failed to score her nominations in the major categories at this year's Golden Melody Awards, which were announced on Wednesday.
