LOS ANGELES - In the romantic comedy Long Shot, Seth Rogen - Hollywood's go-to everyman dork - once again plays an average Joe who romances an accomplished and beautiful woman, in this case, a powerful politician played by Charlize Theron.

But when The Straits Times asks the pair why movies so rarely orchestrate those improbable match-ups in reverse - with an average-looking woman matched with a man presumably out of her league - Theron loses her temper and Rogen gets defensive.
