SINGAPORE - From Beauty World to Fried Rice Paradise, the greatest hits from singer-songwriter Dick Lee's musicals will be presented at Singapopera, a two-night concert on Aug 25 and 26 at the Esplanade Concert Hall.

The show features a cast that includes "Broadway Beng" Sebastian Tan, jazz singer Alamay Fernandez and Denise Tan from cabaret trio Dimsum Dollies. Theatre actors Dwayne Lau, Frances Lee, Benjamin Chow and Cheryl Tan are part of the ensemble.

They will take on musicals from Lee's three decades-worth body of work, such as Forbidden City, Sing To The Dawn and Nagraland. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Beauty World and the 20th anniversary of the Cantonese and Mandarin musical Snow.Wolf.Lake, both of which are among composer and performer Lee's best-loved works.

The cast will be joined by a nine-piece band led by musical director Indra Ismail.
