When post-hardcore rockers Caracal started playing their old hits like Welcome The Ironists during the Ignite music festival at Republic Polytechnic last week, they were not sure how the crowd was going to react.

It was the band's first performance since replacing their lead singer KC Meals, who left under tumultuous circumstances in end-2015.
