Tony Leung to be in reality show

Award-winning Hong Kong actor Tony Leung Chiu Wai, 54, will appear in his first reality television show, to be produced by director Wong Kar Wai, China's Jiangsu TV announced yesterday. The show, which will debut later this year, is a spin-off from The Ferryman, an upcoming romance starring Leung, Angelababy and Takeshi Kaneshiro and produced by Wong. The show will have hosts carrying out the wishes of guests such as Leung, said Chinese reports.

Pitt skips documentary premiere

Actor Brad Pitt said on Tuesday that he is skipping the premiere of his latest project to focus "on my family situation" and not distract attention from the documentary Voyage Of Time, following his highly publicised marital split from actress Angelina Jolie. Pitt, 52, narrated the 45-minute Imax film directed by Terrence Malick.

Adele's album cracks 10m US sales

Adele's 25 has topped 10 million sales in the United States, her second album to cross the threshold in the world's largest music market. The Recording Industry Association of America presented her a plaque certifying that 25, released in November last year, had gone diamond platinum, or sold 10 million copies, at a ceremony backstage at New York's Madison Square Garden, where she just played six sold-out shows. Adele's 2011 album 21 had sold 14 million copies in the US. The 28-year-old is the only artist to sell albums at such a volume since digital music went mainstream in the early 2000s.

Bob Dylan releases 36-CD set

Bob Dylan is releasing a 36-CD box set of his 1966 world tour, a landmark yet controversial series of concerts that followed the folk great's shock decision to go electric. Bob Dylan: The 1966 Live Recordings, the latest massive historical work by the 75-year-old, will come out on Nov 11 ahead of the holiday shopping season.
