Super Boy scouting for contestants

Super Boy, China's all-male reality singing competition, is on the hunt for contestants here.

Aspiring singers can vie for a chance to be on the televised show, which launched the music career of the 2013 edition's winner, Hua Chenyu.

The auditions are co-organised by Chinese television station Hunan TV and veteran radio deejay Eeva Chang's Eeva Productions. Chang is also behind the local search for another Chinese television singing contest, Sing! China.

Interested individuals aged between 18 and 30 can e-mail 2017superboyeevaproductions@gmail.com. The e-mail should include a recent photo, a demo recording and personal details (English and Chinese names, age, contact details and music background). Submission ends on April 15.

Taiwanese pop diva A-mei will hold her brand new tour aMEI Utopia 2.0 Carnival World Tour 2017 on June 9 and 10 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Tickets priced from $98 to $288 will be available via www.sportshubtix.sg from Thursday next week at 10am. Singtel customers enjoy priority sales from Monday to Wednesday.
