Song Seung Heon and Liu Yifei break up

K-drama heart-throb Song Seung Heon is single again. Song, 41, and Chinese actress Liu Yifei, 30, have ended their three-year, long-distance relationship and decided to "remain friends" due to their busy schedules, his agency confirmed on Thursday.

The two became close while starring in the 2015 Chinese film, The Third Way Of Love.

Welcome back, Murphy Brown

CBS network announced on Wednesday that it would revive Murphy Brown, its 1988-1998 television newsroom sitcom, as part of its 2018-2019 season. Candice Bergen will return in the title role. Diane English, the show's creator, will be back as a writer and executive producer.

Logan Paul returns to YouTube

Vlogger Logan Paul returned to YouTube with a new video on Wednesday, three weeks after apologising for a troubling video of a suicide victim's dead body. The new video, Suicide: Be Here Tomorrow, documents Paul learning why his suicide video was so wrong. He has also pledged US$1 million (S$1.3 million) to various suicide prevention groups.

Roots actress dies

Olivia Cole, an actress best known for her Emmy-winning role in the acclaimed 1977 miniseries Roots, died on Friday at her home in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. She was 75. The cause was a heart attack. In 1977, Cole won a supporting-actress Emmy for her portrayal of Matilda, the wife of Chicken George (Ben Vereen), in Roots, the show based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning 1976 book by Alex Haley. The series followed his ancestors' journey from West Africa to the United States as slaves, and many generations beyond.
