Rock band Weezer to play in Singapore

Grammy-winning alternative rock band Weezer are set to play their first concert in Singapore at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre on Aug 15. Tickets for the gig by the American band, known for releasing influential albums such as their 1994 self-titled debut, will go on sale through Sistic from March 19 and will cost from $108.

23 Jump Street and Men In Black crossover confirmed

Muppets director James Bobin confirmed long-rumoured plans for a 23 Jump Street and Men In Black crossover on Wednesday, saying he was excited about directing the project.

He was speaking about the mash-up movie while promoting his film Alice Through The Looking Glass in Los Angeles. He said he could not comment on talk that he is to direct it.

The idea of the movie mash-up emerged in an e-mail leaked during the 2014 Sony hack crisis regarding Jump Street star Jonah Hill's involvement - but the studio has not commented so far.

Hill and Channing Tatum are expected to reprise their roles as Jenko and Schmidt, although Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are not said to be returning as agents Jay and Kay.
