People hail Beckham as Sexiest Man

David Beckham was named People magazine's 2015 Sexiest Man Alive on Tuesday.

"It's a huge honour," the former footballer is quoted as telling People on its website. "And I'm very pleased to accept."

The 40-year-old told People: "I never feel that I'm an attractive, sexy person."

And what did wife and fashion designer Victoria Beckham, 41, think of his elevation to sex symbol status? She said "congratulations", said Beckham.

The couple have four children - Brooklyn, 16; Romeo, 12; Cruz, 10; and Harper, four.

Porsche says Walker's death his own fault

Lawyers for carmaker Porsche said actor Paul Walker, 40, was responsible for his own death in a crash of a Porsche sports car, in response to a wrongful death lawsuit filed by his daughter Meadow Walker.

In papers filed last year in a Los Angeles court, they said his 2013 death was the result of his "own comparative fault". He was in a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT driven by friend Roger Rodas when it crashed near Los Angeles, killing both.

Lawyers for Porsche said he had "knowingly and voluntarily assumed all risk, perils and danger" of the car and that it had been "abused and altered", and "was misused and improperly maintained".
