Oscars gets new producers

The producers for the Oscar ceremony on Feb 28 next year will be Reginald Hudlin, producer of Django Unchained (2012), and David Hill, a television producer with credits on American Idol, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said on Tuesday.

Apple explores making own TV shows

Entertainment executives in Hollywood have held talks with Apple Inc about producing exclusive shows for Apple TV, said Bloomberg. Apple has discussed investing in original series, but has not decided whether to proceed, the report quoted a source as saying.
