Bowie's Blackstar up for Mercury Prize

The late David Bowie has been nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize for his final album, Blackstar, going up against fellow critic favourites Radiohead and Anohni.

Bowie was named for Blackstar, released two days before he died in January. Radiohead was shortlisted for A Moon Shaped Pool, while British-born Anohni was named for Hopelessness. The Mercury Prize will be handed out on Sept 15 in London.


Vic Chou father to baby girl

A baby girl has arrived for Vic Chou and his wife, actress Reen Yu, 28. His manager on Thursday confirmed the birth without giving details.

Chou, 35, is the first of the F4 boyband members to become a father. He and Yu married in November last year and confirmed her pregnancy in April.
