Bill Murray cameo in new Ghostbusters

Actor Bill Murray, who played Dr Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989), will appear in Sony's upcoming reboot of the franchise, Variety reported.

He will make a cameo appearance in the all- female film starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Former Ghostbuster actor Dan Aykroyd has said he has shot a scene for the film, to be released next year.

Faye's daughter in stage debut

Singer Faye Wong's daughter Dou Jingtong, 18, made her maiden performance in Tokyo last Friday, sharing a stage at a music festival with Japanese bands, Singtao Daily reported.

Billing herself as Hong Kong singer Leah Dou, she sang English songs including Blue Flamingo, which is self-written and the first she put on sale online. Fans on the Net praised her performance, saying she showed shades of her mother.
