Beyonce to headline Harvey telethon

Singer Beyonce and actor George Clooney will headline a one-hour telethon to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Harvey, organisers said on Tuesday.

Hand In Hand will air live next Tuesday from Los Angeles, New York and Nashville on all four American broadcast networks and the digital platforms Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

It will include musical performances, taped messages and live appearances from celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, actors Matthew McConaughey and Julia Roberts, and singers Barbra Streisand and George Strait.


Taylor Swift unseats Despacito on chart

Taylor Swift's new track topped the Billboard singles chart on Tuesday with the year's highest one-week sales, halting the historic 16-week reign of Despacito.

Look What You Made Me Do, the first single from her coming album Reputation, pushed the Spanish-language remix by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, featuring Justin Bieber, to No.2 on the United States chart.
