Beatles to hit streaming services

The Beatles - a streaming holdout - will see their songs across streaming music services from today, Re/code reported, citing sources. Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play and Amazon Prime Music are among the many set to stream their songs, the technology website said. The band's catalogue will also be available on music services' free tiers.


Hugh Grant welcomes fourth child

Actor Hugh Grant, 55, has welcomed his fourth child, a girl born to him and his Swedish girlfriend Anna Eberstein on Wednesday, said reports citing a story in Swedish regional newspaper Sundsvall Tinding.

The television producer, 37, is also the mother of his son John Mungo, three, said The Telegraph. Grant has two children - Tabitha, four, and Felix, two - with former girlfriend Tinglan Hong.


US concert giant sued over abuse of power

In a case that offers a glimpse into the lucrative but often hidden business of concert tickets, a small company has sued Live Nation Entertainment, accusing the multibillion-dollar concert giant of abusing its market power to control the sales of advance concert tickets through musicians' websites and fan clubs. New York-based Songkick - a concert listings and ticketing company - accuses it of applying pressure on musicians not to do business with Songkick and to use its fan-club system instead.
