Apple signs deal with Oprah Winfrey

Apple has unveiled an original programming partnership with television star and producer Oprah Winfrey, its biggest ally so far in a battle with Netflix, Google and Amazon over the future of online video. It did not say how much it is paying her or when the material will be released.


Comedian's show axed over abuse claims

A television show on AMC hosted by comedian Chris Hardwick will not air as scheduled after an ex-girlfriend alleged he had sexually abused her. The actress-model said he had control over what she could do during a three-year relationship.
