Apple makes first foray into original TV

Apple announced on Thursday that it was working with entertainer Will.i.am and two veteran television executives, Ben Silverman and Howard T. Owens, on its first original TV project, a non-scripted series that will spotlight the app economy. Details about the production are scant. Silverman, an executive producer of the TV series Jane The Virgin and Marco Polo, brought the idea for the app show to Apple.


Bridget Jones returns knocked up

Bridget Jones, the fictional bumbling Londoner obsessed with her love life, is back, this time pregnant and unsure who the father is. Fans got a first glimpse of the movie Bridget Jones's Baby with a two-minute trailer released on Wednesday, showing the return of Oscar winners Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth, as well as Patrick Dempsey as a new love interest.
