Adele breaks 15-year-old record

Singer Adele broke the single- week United States album sales record in just four days with her new release 25, Nielsen Music said on Tuesday. Sales for the album, released last Friday, have surpassed 2.43 million copies, smashing a 15-year-old record set by boyband 'NSync's 2000 album No Strings Attached, which sold 2.41 million copies.


March dates for jazz fest

The 3rd Singapore International Jazz Festival is on from March 4 to 6 at Marina Bay Sands with a line-up including Britain's

Joss Stone, Cuba's Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club, Australian quartet Hiatus Kaiyote and Nigeria's Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, as well as local acts such as singer-songwriter Charlie Lim and jazz veteran Jeremy Monteiro. Tickets from $65 are available through Marina Bay Sands and EventClique.
