Half of the 300 street performers under the Busking Scheme are below age 35 and now, there are more approved busking venues

To put herself through university, Marian Carmel Saturno, 22, turned to singing in the streets for money.

"A year before I started university, I had to save up to pay the fees as my parents couldn't afford them," says the arts management student from Lasalle College of the Arts.
