British singer Dua Lipa to return to Singapore for concert

SINGAPORE - British singer and songwriter Dua Lipa will be back in Singapore to perform at the Esplanade Theatre on May 4.

The rising pop artist, whose songs like New Rules and IDGAF have charted worldwide, played a private showcase here last year.

Tickets from $88 to $168 will go on sale to Live Nation members on Thursday (Feb 22), 10am through ticketing agency APACTix. Public sales will start on Feb 26, 10am.

The 22-year-old has five nominations at the upcoming 2018 Brit Awards, including for best British Female Solo Artist and for British Album Of The Year for her self-titled debut released last year. She also picked up Best New Artist at the 2017 NME Awards.

Her album was also included in several Best Albums of 2017 lists in publications like Rolling Stone and The Straits Times.
