Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming deals with extreme temperatures for his new movie, The Bravest

Chinese leading man Huang Xiaoming braved fiery heat and icy cold and even dislocated his shoulder - all for his new film, The Bravest, a disaster movie chronicling firefighters' efforts to save a city from exploding in flames.

The movie, which opens today, is based on a real-life incident - a 2010 oil-pipe explosion in China's north-eastern port city of Dalian.
