Acclaimed American indie folk band Fleet Foxes will play in Singapore for the first time at the Esplanade Theatre on Jan 14.
The quintet, known for the lush vocal harmonies and mix of folk, rock and pop in their music, released third album, Crack-Up, in June, after a three year hiatus.
The Seattle group's self-titled debut album was hailed by several music publications like Billboard, Pitchfork and Mojo as the best album of 2008, while The Guardian called it "an instant classic" and "a landmark in American music".
Their second album, Helplessness Blues (2011) was nominated for Best Folk Album at the Grammy Awards in 2012.
Tickets to the show, from $88 to $148, go on sale through APACTix on Oct 2, 10am.
