GENEVA (AFP) - American actor Adrien Brody will receive the Leopard Club Award at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland next month.
The 44-year-old is noted for his role in the 2002 Holocaust film The Pianist.
The prize is awarded to actors "whose work has left a mark on the collective imagination" and has previously gone to stars like Faye Dunaway, Mia Farrow and Andy Garcia.
Brody has worked with top directors, including Steven Soderbergh, Oliver Stone, Ken Loach, Spike Lee, Wes Anderson and Woody Allen.
