Better Things' actress-producer Pamela Adlon tells how she picked up the pieces when her writing and producing partner Louis C.K. left after being accused of sexual misconduct

In November 2017, when the television network FX cut ties with comedian Louis C.K. after his sexual-misconduct scandal, it was left to Pamela Adlon to make Better Things, the acclaimed series the two of them had created in 2016, on her own.

His admission that he had indecently exposed himself to several women in the comedy world led her to publicly denounce his behaviour as "abhorrent" and side with his accusers.
