Veteran singers Ramli Sarip and Khadijah Ibrahim will hold a joint concert here in October

Back in the late 1980s, veteran Singapore singer-songwriter Ramli Sarip had the idea to write a love song with a unique twist.

"There were plenty of sad, heartbreak songs, but I wanted to do a song that took a positive spin on the end of a relationship," says the 65-year-old.
