Along Upper Thomson Road near Shunfu market, a nondescript tiny eatery called Rubicon Steakhouse sits in the middle of a mixed development building called Thomson Imperial Court.

Walking past, you probably would not have given it a second look if not for a sign outside that says "Hokkaido beef".
