Bodies At Rest, a Hong Kong production based on a Hollywood script, keeps alive the territory's tradition of scrappy cops-and-gangsters pictures

On a stormy Christmas eve, a pathologist and an intern are working the graveyard shift when three masked gunmen break in to retrieve an incriminating bullet from a corpse. There will be plenty more dead bodies by the end of the violent siege.

It is Die Hard in a morgue.
