Deejay Bernard Lim, who is set to become a first-time father, says he has swopped his once extravagant lifestyle for home-cooked meals and watching Netflix with his fiancee

At 51, radio deejay Bernard Lim is ready to start a family. Not only will the media veteran and former nightlife head honcho marry Thai public relations and marketing executive Pim Suvarnakuta, 37, at the Registry of Marriages on Saturday, but he is also set to become a first-time father.

The couple will adopt a 16-month-old toddler, Minnie, whose mother, Ms Pim's younger sister, died of brain cancer last year.
