Child-friendly Maldives stay
Parents can add Per Aquum Niyama to their list of childfriendly resorts in the Maldives. It has launched Explorers, a children's club comprising four "tribes", each tailored to a specific age group.
Globetrotters caters to children under three and parents pay US$20++ (S$28++) an hour and up to a maximum of US$100++ for a full-day programme from 9am to 6pm. The other three tribes - Adventurers, Voyagers and Pioneers - are free and for children aged three and four, five to seven and eight to 12 respectively.
Activities include pizza-making and dolphin spotting.

Dynasty Travel has introduced two seven-day, five-night Korean packages that include registration for marathons taking place in October and November.
The Chosunilbo Chuncheon Marathon package (travel period is from Oct 23 to 29) costs $1,708, while the Jeju Mandarine International Marathon package (travel period is from Nov 13 to 19) is $2,188.

European package deals
Trafalgar is offering its 2016 summer preview itineraries at this year's prices. If prices are lower when the new summer packages are launched in November, the guided holiday company will refund travellers the difference.
Further sweetening the deal is a 10 per cent early bird discount travellers can enjoy if they book their holidays over the preview sale period, which ends on Sept 30.
There are more than 110 itineraries to choose from, including the Italy Bellissimo tour which starts from US$2,939 (S$4,128).

Myanmar-Singapore promotional fares
Myanmar National Airlines launched its Yangon-Singapore service on Monday last week, the first time it has introduced a new international route in 22 years.
The airline is offering promotional fares till Dec 31. Round-trip prices start from $289 from Singapore and US$239 (S$336) from Yangon.
