The property in Raffles City got a facelift this year with a multi-million-dollar refurbishment of its south tower that wrapped up in August.

Rooms are handsomely appointed, with herringbone wall panels and accents of tan leather, while light-ringed mirrors in the bathroom are both stylish and functional. Green features: A new aquaponics garden, which grows about 50 types of vegetables including spinach, kale, bak choy and batavia lettuce, is the first of its kind in a hotel complex.
