Epigram Books is leaving 50 books - from picture books to graphic novels to literary fiction - in heartland locations from now (Feb 24) to Sunday. After you find the books, tag Epigram Books on Instagram (@epigrambooks) or Facebook with the hashtag #BuySingLit and/or #HoldSGInYourHands and include the book number stated to get an e-voucher for your next Epigram purchase. Show your support for Singapore literature this weekend as more than 40 literary-themed activities take place around the island.
They include book fairs, storytelling sessions, workshops and book treasure hunts. Author Jumaini Ariff (photo) will conduct a storytelling workshop as part of this #BuySingLit campaign.
The industry-led effort involves more than 30 partners, including bookstores and publishers, working across all four official languages.

Twilight Tales: Desmond Kon
Singaporean author Desmond Kon Zhicheng-Mingde, co-winner of the Singapore Literature Prize for English Poetry last year for his collection, I Didn't Know Mani Was A Conceptualist, discusses his work with moderator Daryl Lim Wei Jie and takes questions from the audience. This #BuySingLit session is part of Twilight Tales, an ongoing series featuring Singaporean writers and hosted by friends and partners of the Book Council.
