Bright spots of unique flavours at Marina One's The Spot

Chef Lee Boon Seng of The Spot in Marina One rolls out dishes that fuse South-east Asian flavours with Western cooking

Many local chefs these days like to reinterpret the food they grew up with by putting together the ingredients in creative ways in a Western dish.

It does not always work because why would I want to eat something that reminds me of a hawker dish when the original dish tastes better and is much cheaper to boot?
