Irish band Boyzone are calling it quits after a 26-year career with a global farewell tour

While some boy bands from the early 1990s are finding their second wind, including Westlife and the Backstreet Boys, Ireland's Boyzone are choosing to call it quits after a 26-year career with a global farewell tour.

"Those guys are just finding their feet now, especially with Westlife... but I think we found our second wind back in 2007 or 2008, and have spent the last 10 years dipping in and out of the industry making different albums on different kinds of tours," says band member Shane Lynch, 42.
