SINGAPORE - Once a month, members of book editor She-reen Wong's book club gather in her apartment to "discuss the finer things in life".

The group of four women discuss the book of the month over a spread which includes but is not limited to: wine and a cheese platter, as well as pasta, ice cream and salad.
