Once or twice a week during her lunch break, Ms Wong Zi En leaves her office at the co-working space of Straits Clan members' club in Bukit Pasoh, and heads to wellness and meditation studio Space 2B for a crystal bowl sound meditation class.

For an hour, she drifts in and out of a sleep-like state, lulled by the sounds and vibrations of the teacher running a suede-covered wooden stick around the rim and exterior of crystal bowls.
