Waxing poetical while going social

Young poets are shaking up the literary scene and finding new audiences on social-media platforms like Instagram and Tumblr

"April is the cruellest month," wrote modernist poet T. S. Eliot in The Waste Land. For many young poets in Singapore, it is also the busiest, as the annual Singapore Poetry Writing Month kicks off.

Better known as SingPoWriMo, it prompts participants to write a poem every day of the month and post it in the Facebook group.
