TAIWAN (REUTERS) - Taiwanese artist Lin Shih-Pao collected used mobile phones for a project intended to draw attention to recycling garbage into modern art.
The artwork, a car made out of used mobile phones, has been installed at the artist's former high school in New Taipei City.
Lin spent the past four years and some US$30,000 (S$41, 939) collecting discarded phones from around the world.
He then used glue and nails to attach the phones to a wooden frame.
The piece weighs in at about two tonnes, including the wood, and the 25,0000 phones.
