Rare books, manuscripts donated to library

Writer and poet Yong Shu Hoong, 52, recently donated two copies of a limited-edition book to the National Library. The book paired poems from his first book, Isaac (1997), with paintings by artist Yee Wai Fong, and only 48 copies were printed.

The two-time winner of the Singapore Literature Prize is also putting together other papers, including handwritten drafts, photographs, and memorabilia, to donate to the library.
