Pre-concert rehearsals are as important for building officer Mohamed Zailani Mohamed Said as for any musician in the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO).

The 57-year-old is part of the four-person team that sets up music stands and chairs before concerts and checks that the stage lighting is bright enough for musicians to read the score.
